Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) includes Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Both conditions involve inflammation and ulcers in the digestive tract. Ulcerative colitis affects only the colon, while Crohn’s disease can affect any part of the digestive tract, from the mouth to the anus, causing deep ulcers and tissue damage.
There are many factors involved, but the primary cause is bacteria. Hulda Clark, PhD, ND, specifically identifies Salmonella, commonly found in dairy, eggs, and meat, as a major contributor. She also points to toxic substances present in some beverages as additional triggers.
The primary remedy is oregano oil, known for its potency against a wide range of pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, and parasites. However, before using oregano oil or tinctures to eliminate bacteria, it’s important to first heal the ulcers. You can support healing with aloe vera, cabbage juice, and L-glutamine supplements. Allow 3 to 6 weeks for the ulcers to heal before starting botanical antibiotics like oregano oil.
